Our October 15 General Membership Meeting will feature our nonpartisan voting rights training--this meeting is free and open to the public. This meeting is geared toward program staff and trusted volunteers who can share nonpartisan voting rights information with clients, guests, and residents and who can help register eligible voters at their programs. We will provide take-home resources including voter registration forms in multiple languages. We can ALL prepare for the November 3 election by ensuring EVERY eligible voter has a chance to cast their vote.

Topics in this training include:

  • Voting rights restoration in Washington state
  • How to register to vote without a permanent home address
  • How to register to vote without an ID

We will also talk about the benefits of the Millionaire's Tax and the initiative opposing it on the November ballot.

We welcome all attendees to join us starting at 8:30 a.m. for coffee, breakfast, and social time with peers. Our meeting content will begin at 9 a.m.

The Coalition hosts General Membership Meetings monthly on the third Thursday. We provides education and advocacy resources to staff, clients, and board members of organizations like yours. We convene and facilitate monthly meetings, host case manager trainings, share resources and information related to public benefits, budget and policy priorities, and topics of shared interest for our members. We create opportunities for our members to engage in city, county, state, and federal advocacy related to housing, homelessness, and human services. Our work is guided and informed by our members, who in turn shape the direction and focus of our advocacy.

Visit our Member Meeting webpage for resources, as well as registration links for other upcoming meetings and trainings.
