This free, virtual training is geared towards frontline providers working with families experiencing homelessness or with very low incomes. Come learn how best to support the people you're working with to apply for and maintain the cash benefits that come with the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and how the WorkFirst program works.

This training will cover an TANF Overview including, eligibilty requirements, how to apply for benefits, the TANF sanction process, and additional programs available to TANF families. Plus learn tips on how to avoid benefit pitfalls that can result in losing benefits and hear about the hearing and appeals process.

Providers will have the opportunity to ask question and discuss these program with experts.
